An Evening in the Park

An Evening in the Park

park

Will you meet in the park

At half past when it is dark

LogoUnder the ancient, sagacious oak

After the frogs third croak

Logo

The delicate mist filled grass

will pad our bare feet as we pass

Logo

Quietly, cautiously we must sneak

Along the gently sparkling creek

Logo

To where the plants are wild and overgrown

A hidden place we can call our own

Logo

The stars glitter and shine

Our fingers touch and intertwine

Logo

Spinning through the gracious, towering trees

The summer zephyr rustles the noble leaves

Logo

The night birds – a perfect band

Effortlessly jaunting hand in hand

Logo

Watching natures treasure trove of flowers

Being bathed in heavens cool showers

Logo

Clothing sticking to our shaking skin

It is time for a new day to begin

Logo

Far in the distance, almost out of sight

Comes the days first sign of new light

Logo

We must, for now, part with the dark

Please, please, meet me in the park
